Steps to Perform Wavlink Firmware Update
Download Latest Firmware
Open the web browser and search for the latest firmware version for the Wavlink WiFi extender. You should check that it is compatible with your extender. Click on the Download File option once everything is in check.
Extract & Save File
After downloading the file, extract and save it to the l folder. Make sure you can easily access the file when needed. If needed, use the compressor tools to compress the large file.
Turn on Wavlink Extender

Choose a Place

Open Default Web Address

Do Extender Login
The Wavlink WiFi extender login page opens on your home screen. That is where you need to enter your extender login details. So, keep the details by your side. You need to enter either the default login credentials or the updated ones. Enter the username and password & click on the login button.
Choose Upgrade Firmware
Go to the Setup option once you are logged into your Wavlink extender. From there, you need to choose the Upgrade Firmware option. Browse the file that you saved on your PC. Open and upload the file. Wait for the file to get uploaded.
Click on the Apply button to complete the firmware update process. You might be asked to reboot the device. Do as you are asked.
