Casino Royale is a reboot of the James Bond series. It establishes a new narrative framework and timeline. It shows a more vulnerable and inexperienced Bond. It also omits Miss Moneypenny, who has become one of the most iconic Bond villains. In this film, Daniel Craig plays the role of the titular character. In the original novel, the title character is portrayed by Pierce Brosnan.

He plans to do so through biological warfare which has a long-term effect on humanity. However, he is only concerned about saving his daughter from the villains. So, he decides to kill him before his plan can come to fruition.
